New Layout!

Despite the previous layout only being online for a few months, which makes a change — I realise I’m known for leaving layouts online for much longer — but I felt that we could do with a Summery feel, despite the not-so-Summery weather lately!

Huge thanks goes to my good friend Laura for designing & coding this beautiful theme. Hope everyone enjoys the new look, and don’t hesitate to leave a comment on your way out. :)

New Domain & Upcoming Media Archive

Just a heads up that you can now access Amy Acker Fan via the main domain, Amy-Acker.org or the brand new domain, AmyAckerFan.org — IMO, easier to remember if you forget the original domain as it better reflects the site name. :)

In other news, I’m currently working on adding a streaming version of the Video Vault to the site so you’ll have the option of downloading video clips and/or streaming them online. :) I’m hoping it’ll up & running early next month so be sure to check back soon for details of the opening.

There may still be a few additional things in the works, so again, stay tuned!

‘Dollhouse’ Deleted Scenes

As previously reported there are a host of deleted scenes (23 in all) on the Dollhouse season 1 DVD release — and it looks like Amy is in one of those scenes, as the material was rated by the BBCF (UK 12) and so a list is available to peruse, although if you haven’t yet seen the full season of Dollhouse then be aware of spoilers in the scene descriptions!

‘Dollhouse’ R2 DVD Update

Just a heads up that the Region 2 DVD release of Dollhouse will now be on September 7, 2009 — a week earlier than the previously reported date of September 14, and coincidentally, the same release date as Dragon Chronicles – Fire And Ice! The price has also been slashed further on Amazon.co.uk from £24.99 to £14.98.

The region 1 DVD (& Blu-Ray) release will, of course, be released next week on Tuesday — July 28, 2009. :)

‘Fire & Ice’ UK Region 2 Pre-Order!

As previously reported Fire & Ice is currently available on Region 2, but in Germany — well, there’s some good news!

Fire & Ice will be released in the UK under the title of Dragon Chronicles – Fire And Ice on September 7, 2009. :) You can currently pre-order the DVD at Amazon.co.uk for £11.69 £9.98 — there’s no additional details just yet but I’ll be sure to keep you guys posted!

Be sure to check back for HQ DVD screencaptures from Fire & Ice (and Dollhouse) in a few months’ time. ;)

‘Dollhouse’ Episodes Confirmed!

Eliza has posted an interesting titbit on her official Twitter about filming Dollhouse — filming commenced 2 weeks ago! — which suggests that Amy is either in the season 2 opener and/or the 2nd episode. :)

Joss is still awesome, Amy Acker & I may make out nxt up, & enticing Tahmoments lurk ahead post Comicon..!

In other news, Ausiello has confirmed that Amy will indeed be returning for 3 episodes! Happy news!

Comic-Con news alert: Dollhouse boss Joss Whedon just confirmed to me that Amy Acker has inked a deal to return for three episodes in season 2. There was some question whether Acker would be able to juggle Dollhouse with her full-time gig on ABC’s new drama Happy Town.
