I finally have my copy of The Dragon Chronicles (otherwise known as Fire and Ice) so I was able to make HQ DVD screencaptures of the ‘Making Of’ featurette that is available on the Region 2 DVD where there are some wonderful shots of Amy — screencaptures of the movie itself shall be added soon! Thus, over 190 screencaptures have been added to the gallery; link and previews are below, enjoy! :)

I really hope you guys got to see this episode last night since it was freaking fantastic — especially Amy! Joss definitely delivered on his promise and I, for one, am definitely more excited about this season. :) However, do be aware that the screencaps are very spoilery if you’ve yet to see the episode.

Thus, over 300 MQ screencaptures from last night’s season 2 premiere of Dollhouse have been added to the gallery; links & previews are below, enjoy! :)

Just a heads up that the second season of Dollhouse premieres tonight with episode 2×01, titled ‘Vows’ — as you may know, this is the first of 3 episodes that Amy will be appearing in this season; I’ll be sure to keep you guys up-to-date on the other 2 episodes as soon as we get further confirmation.

Be sure to check back over the weekend for screencaptures! I, for one, cannot wait to see this episode. :)

Another interview from the conference call with Joss Whedon last week, this time courtesey of SciFiChick; the extracts featuring Amy are posted below.

Is Dr. Saunders going to factor in a little more in the season?

Dr. Saunders would factor in much more in the season had we not lost her to another show. She will factor inasmuch as we are allowed to factor her in, which is exactly three episodes worth. They will, however, be three extraordinarily memorable episodes.

Amy Acker is ridiculously talented and the character’s dilemma is fascinating to us. We grit our teeth that we didn’t have the funds, or the support, or the success, to just make her a regular and now we’re paying for it. It means that every time we have her on screen, we’ll squeeze every drop out of her that we can. We’re seizing the day. We just don’t get to seize as many of them as we’d like.

With Amy Acker gone, are we going to get a new doctor character to tend to the wounded?

We haven’t featured the doctor. We see somebody in the BG. We will be seeing Dr. Saunders again and the stories just haven’t lent themselves to bringing in another person in that capacity. So if we need to, yes, but not so far.

Joss Whedon held a conference call yesterday (Sept. 17) to discuss season 2 of Dollhouse; below is an extract featuring Amy & her character — it is definitely only 3 episodes for this season, but it sounds like we’re in for a heck of a treat! :)

5. Dr. Saunders and Mellie will recur. When Dollhouse‘s future was in flux, Amy Acker signed on to Happy Town, limiting her ability to recur as the scarred doctor on Dollhouse. That means that when you do see Dr. Saunders, it’s all quality time. “She will factor in as much as we are allowed to factor her in, which is exactly three episodes’ worth,” Whedon said. “They will, however, be three extraordinarily memorable episodes. We’re seizing the day. We just don’t get to seize as many of them as we’d like.”
