Hey guys, apologies for the lack of updates from myself lately, but unfortunately, I now have limited internet so I’m only able to update several times a month if I’m lucky. Because of this, I missed the site anniversary which was on January 19 – Amy Acker Fan has now been online for 3 years! Something I’m proud of, since the site has come a long way from it’s humble beginnings as a temporary site without full content. :)

You may have noticed that my good friend Riikka has been updating the site but she’s also incredibly busy so hasn’t been able to update as much as she would like to – she does have HD Dollhouse screencaptures available though, which shall be added as soon as possible.

However, rest assured that this site isn’t going anywhere – I shall continue to make updates offline (mostly DVD screencaptures & video clips) and upload them when I’m able to. I realise Happy Town is about to start, and while I may not be able to update weekly, the site will be kept up-to-date. :)

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you’ll continue to do so!

Friendship with Joss Whedon has its privileges. Just ask actress Amy Acker who is as surprised as anyone to have played such an integral role in what’s shaping up to be a pretty epic final season of Dollhouse.

Amy Acker and Larry Pine will star in The Boomerang Theatre Company’s reading of Mary Jett Parsley Wrenn’s The Monster Tales, at The Actors Company Theatre Studio on February 1 at 7pm. Cailín Heffernan will direct.

Presented as part of The Legacy Reading Series, the play tells the story of a lonely young woman who discovers her singular humanity when a monster appears from under her bed.

Acker is best known for her television roles on Dollhouse, Angel, and Alias. Among Pine’s many Broadway credits are Bus Stop, Angels in America, and Joe Egg; he has also starred Off-Broadway in more than two dozen plays, including Stuff Happens, The Seagull, and Vanya on 42nd Street.

Tickets are $25, and will include a reception afterwards.

Amy has attended the first event of 2010, looking as lovely as ever, and it’s related to Happy Town! Hopefully a premiere date will be announced soon. :) Amy attended day 4 of ABC’s Winter TCA Tour today for the Q&A session panel, along with her Happy Town co-stars, including Sam Neill, Geoff Stults and Lauren German.

The first 003 MQ images have been added to the gallery — here’s hoping some more turns up soon — a preview is to your right & the gallery link is below, enjoy! :)
