A quick glance at Amy’s IMDB profile showed that Amy has filmed a guest spot on Crime Scene Investigation (aka CSI) which shall be airing on January 6, 2011 on CBS so be sure to check your local listings for the times!

The episode, 11×11, is titled ‘Man Up’ and Amy’s character is called Sandy Colfax, but sadly, Amy doesn’t seem to be featured in any of the promotional stills that have been released. However, we’ll be sure to add screencaptures shortly after the episode has aired. :)

There may be an upcoming upcoming guest appearance/recurring role from Amy to look forward to! If this is true, it would reunite Amy with her Angel co-star, Julie Benz, on the new ABC series No Ordinary Family. How exciting! Here’s hoping we’ll get further news or details soon. :)

Article posted below, courtesy of Cinema Blend.

If you caught the first episode of ABC’s new family drama series No Ordinary Family and are looking forward to more, you may want to keep an eye out for Amy Acker. Word is, the former Angel star is going to be on the series.

Romany Malco, who plays Michael Chiklis’ character Jim’s friend George St. Cloud on the series (and you might recognize him from Weeds or 40 Year Old Virgin), posted the following tweet tonight [September 29]:

If UV seen NOF you’ll be happy to know that hottie @AmyAcker will be working w / George St. Cloud!

We haven’t seen anything official from ABC on this news yet, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for confirmation and more details. As far as Malco’s tweet, does “working with” mean job related? Or perhaps she’ll get involved in George’s part in Jim’s new role as a moonlighting superhero. Either way, if it’s true, I love it! And not to get too Buffy-geek here but this will be a Whedonverse collision as NoF’s Julie Benz was also in Angel.

In addition to her roles in Angel, Alias and Dollhouse, Acker was also among the cast of ABC’s Happy Town.

No Ordinary Family airs Tuesday nights at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC.

Exciting news! It looks like Amy may be currently filming a new project — I did wonder since Amy has posted on her official Twitter that she’s in Texas (from April 30) as well as a lovely pic with Tony Hale & the tweet regarding a night shoot.

Also, IMDB has the project listed on Amy’s resume, albeit rumoured, and offers the following synopsis:

A singer-songwriter beat up by the L.A. music machine who moves with his wife to Sironia, Texas.

So, for now, I shall add this project to the sidebar & hopefully we’ll have further confirmation and/or information regarding this project later on. :)

Thanks to my good friend Riikka for the heads up! Amy is listed as a guest (with further guests pending) for the upcoming UK convention titled Echo 2 for fans of Dollhouse — you may remember that she was scheduled to attend last year but had to drop out at the last minute, which we later learned was due to filming her small part on The Cabin in the Woods. :)

The convention is due to take place on 1-3 April, 2011 in Heathrow, England.

The worlds second scheduled unofficial three day convention for fans of Joss Whedon’s DOLLHOUSE featuring:
• guest talks
• photo and autograph sessions
• competitions
• parties
• and much more

Exciting news! Amy has revealed on her Twitter that as well as looking forward to the upcoming premiere for Happy Town, Amy will also be guest starring on the season finale of The Good Wife, alongside her husband, James Carpinello — marking their first appearance on screen together!

At the moment, it is unclear which episode Amy will be guest starring in — although it does look to be episode 23, which is airing on May 25, 2010 — and whether she’ll share scenes with her husband, so be sure to check back for further information as it becomes available. :)
