Thanks to my good friend Riikka for the heads up! Amy is listed as a guest (with further guests pending) for the upcoming UK convention titled Echo 2 for fans of Dollhouse — you may remember that she was scheduled to attend last year but had to drop out at the last minute, which we later learned was due to filming her small part on The Cabin in the Woods. The convention is due to take place on 1-3 April, 2011 in Heathrow, England.
Be sure to visit the official website for further details! |
Amy will be appearing at WonderCon this year on Saturday, April 3 for the Happy Town panel, along with co-stars Geoff Stults and M.C. Gainey — there will be an exclusive screening of Happy Town and a Q&A session with the cast & producers. For more details, visit the official website. |
I have a treat for you guys, the wonderful Sean Harry has posted videos from various conventions on his YouTube Channel and one of them was ‘Not Fade Away’, which took place in 2006. I have added over 200 MQ screencaptures to the gallery featuring Amy — looking lovely as usual! — and I highly recommend checking the video out in full as it gives a good idea of what a convention is like, if like me, you’ve never been to one. Thanks to Bad Fred for bringing this to my attention – It looks like that Amy has signed on to make an appearance at a brand new convention, this time for the upcoming T1 — A three day convention for fans of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, Chuck, Dollhouse and Dr Horrible’s Sing Along Blog featuring guest talks; photo & autograph sessions; competitions; parties; and much more. It will run from 24-26 April 2009 at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole Hotel in the UK. Tickets can be purchased at this site but please note that, “Ticket prices will be subject to an increase on 1st February 2009.” Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend despite living in the UK, so I — and I’m sure the fans — would appreciate a written account and/or picture donations. |
Hope everyone is enjoying the daily updates at the moment – which will continue for the time being since I have some extra free time right now. In today’s update, I’ve added convention images from over the years to the gallery – many thanks to Steve Rogerson for allowing me to repost his images – and if you have any convention related pictures of Amy, don’t hesitate to send them in. You would, of course, receive full credit. Other images added include super rare images of Amy on stage in theatre productions and agency headshots. You may also notice that I’ve re-sorted the photoshoot section; the outtakes are now grouped by photographer, which makes for easier viewing. Gallery links and previews are below, enjoy!
