Just a quick post to wish everyone a Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. Updates may be a little slow while we enjoy the holidays, but I look forward to following Amy’s career into 2012- we already have guest appearances on Once Upon a Time & Grimm to look forward to, as early as January! And let’s not forget the long awaited release of The Cabin in the Woods in April & the surprise movie with Joss Whedon, Much Ado About Nothing. Of course, we’re bound to have even more to look forward to, perhaps the R1/R2 DVD release of Sironia and Dear Santa…? Here’s hoping, anyhow! Enjoy the holidays! |

A little fun piece; the news broke several days ago that Joss Whedon has been hired by Marvel to direct and rewrite a script for The Avengers, and naturally, several people (including Scott Rosenberg; his tweet is posted below) have been placing bets on the cast — with an emphasis on the Whedonverse actors — including Amy Acker (or Summer Glau) for the role of The Wasp.
Obviously, if developments arise I’ll be following this project more closely, but for now, I thought it’d be fun to mention! |

A small piece of news — Amy has been nominated for ‘Best Female Guest Star’ for her work on Dollhouse in the ‘My TV Awards’ and is up against Sharon Lawrence (Grey’s Anatomy), Kristen Bell (Party Down), Christine Baranski (Big Bang Theory), Lucy Hale (Private Practice) and Joanne Vannicola (Being Erica). Amy has responded to the nomination, which is posted below.

Happy new year, everyone! It’s been a great year for Amy and us fans alike with her roles in 21 and a Wake-Up and Dollhouse, despite the cancellation, and we have plenty more to look forward to in 2010 with Amy’s role in Happy Town, which I can assure you I shall be covering every step of the way! I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank you, the fans, for visiting — it’s much appreciated — and I love working on this site. |
